Ebacc Work

Ebacc is a scheme the Government are bringing in to reform education as we know it. They claim the subjects encouraged by this structure should provide students with a better opportunity to get into the top Universities. However, the Ebacc neglects the creative subjects and should therefore neglect children of a fully rounded education. Many schools are now being encouraged to remove arts from their curriculum's in order to boost their league standings. Aside from education, Britain's creative industries are world leaders. Reducing the flow of artistic graduates would surely have a negative effect on the Economy.

I decided to make some posters to try and convey the information I have gathered.

The Courteeners - The Opener

I miss the city I love but I've been having an affair
With L.A and New York, Dundee and Doncaster if you
should care. Of course you do, of course you do

But I was made for this place and I was made for you
My heart is here, here to stay

The xx

One of my favourite bands at the moment.

"And the end comes too soon. Like dreaming of angels, and leaving without them."

Staynice Typography

STAYNICE

Staynice was formed by brothers Rob and Barry van Dijick,
after the two turned their early love for graffiti art into degrees
from the St.Joost Academy of Fine Arts. They have
a compulsion to work big. Really big.

"We send a poster instead of a postcard to clients every once in a while. We love it."

The Smiths

Probably my favourite band.
Morrissey one of the best lyricists ever, and Johnny Marr with his scintillating riffs.
